Every time we are approached by someone wanting to know more about the process of our metal building, we start with the same few principles. Becoming aware of how the process works will greatly help to give you an understanding in the best choice of product for your commercial needs.
Contact
Upon your first contact with us, we’ll start to get a feel for what you want and need in your metal building. This is a critical first step because it gives us and you the chance to speak with a future partner. We believe that clear communication is the way that work gets done, so this constant communication will continue throughout the project.
Planning
In most commercial areas, you may end up needing a permit in order to build on the property. This is particularly the case if you need to add or change any sort of pipes or electrical lines. In this phase, you’ll also be able to make any last-minute changes or adjustments before your building is put into production.
Production and Manufacturing
Once those plans are complete, we start building. Or rather, we start fabricating in our factory. Once this part is done, we can ship your building parts to the destination site, along with everything else that you’ve ordered to go into it. Insulation, doors, windows, sinks, everything, will make its way to the final site.
Ground and Site Preparations
This actually happens before your pieces arrive to the site. This is when the land is prepared for the arrival. A lot of things happen in this process including pouring foundation, creating support columns, or using anchors to keep everything in just the right place.
Framing and Sheeting
This is the phase of what is considered the actual construction of your building. The main frame parts are erected, then all of the outside sheeting is lifted after. From there, we work our way in and around the new building frame.
Accessories and Trim
This is the final step of the process, everything that is not part of the metal building itself can finally be installed. Windows, doors, vents, fans, sinks, and everything else can be mounted, hooked up, installed, and plugged in. After this, you are ready to go.
