Pre-engineered steel buildings are also referred to as pre-manufactured, or prefabricated, steel buildings. Basically, the manufacturer designs a steel building (in a warehouse-like setting) that can be shipped in pieces, assembled on-site, disassembled, and moved if needed.
All of the pieces are created, as needed, by the manufacturer. Then, they’re shipped to the building site for assembly. No field cutting is required to erect the building as pieces are bolted together, as designed in the factory.
Pre-engineered steel buildings expand easily and can be customized for new uses. New sections can also be added to an existing structure. To learn more, contact us at Unisteel 400 today.
